REAL Brokerage Transition Checklist Atlanta
GETTING READY
- Real Style Guide - Fonts, Logos, Colors, Etc
- Real Logos
- Real Slide Deck showing fees and how our revenue share/stock program works
- Real also has contract signing software in ReZen, so there is no need to subscribe to DocuSign. I use Remine in FMLS; it's what I’m used to.
- Design business cards and send them to the printer. I used a QR code from Popl so that my iPhone contact record can be easily shared.
- Once you join REAL you will have access to a robust design center.
- Order new signs. You can design them anyway you want as long as the comply with Georgia Real Estate laws (i.e. you must have Real Broker LLC, 855-450-0442 and the Real Logo on your sign - and your name, phone, logo can’t be larger or more prominent than the brokers name, phone and logo) Here is a standard Real Signage Canva Template.. Before ordering signs send a PDF to the Georgia broker to confirm that the sign complies with state laws.
- Order some REAL swag. https://onerealstore.com/
- Plan your transition date. I recommend doing it on a Monday or Tuesday. Avoid Fridays or you could go the weekend without access to the MLS or Supra (if your current broker waits until the end of the day to release your license and then MLS doesn’t have time to make the transition).
- If you used your brokerage email address to login to any websites, go to those websites and change your email login address
- Design new email signatures - I used www.WiseStamp.com or you can create your own on Canva
- Film your Announcement video - just tell your story.
ONE WEEK BEFORE TRANSITION DAY
- Start the Real application process. Here is a LINK to get started.
- By starting the application process one week before your announcement it will allow us to introduce you to your Onboarding Specialist and to the Georgia broker who will be assisting you with transferring your license, switching you over in FMLS/GAMLS, and transitioning you to the new ReZen Transaction Management Platform and Real Workplace on the day your license is officially transferred.
You can fill out an application online.
Or, CLICK HERE, download the app, and complete your application on your phone.
- Our application is super easy - you can watch a brief video HERE - or read below: We'll ask you a couple of questions about yourself, your real estate experience, and where you practice real estate (plus Boards and MLS). This information is used by our team to transfer your license over.
